ICW-KENYA

We are a national network run by and for women living with HIV in Kenya — advocating for dignity, health, human rights, access to prevention, treatment, care and support services, and meaningful involvement in every decision that affects our lives.
About Us

The International Community of Women Living with HIV Kenya Chapter (ICWK) was registered as a Kenyan NGO in 2012. We exist so that no woman living with HIV faces stigma, discrimination, barriers to SRHR services, or exclusion from the decisions that shape their life.

Guided by the principal that “Nothing for us without us,” ICWK has identified five thematic areas around which its work is organized to deliver on its mandate:

• Access to and uptake of HIV and AIDS, TB, Malaria and SRHR services by women living with HIV in all diversity.

• Strengthening community systems and supportive structures

• Increase participation of WLHIV in advocacy for HIV and related diseases; policy development, programming, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.

• Institutional strengthening for ICWK.

• Domestic resource mobilization for health.
