ICW-Kenya Chapter recently convened a community dialogue bringing together members, health workers, and local leaders to confront the stigma that women living with HIV continue to face in their families and communities.
The forum created a safe space for women to share their lived experiences and for participants to challenge harmful myths and attitudes. Facilitators emphasised that ending stigma is central to our vision of a just and inclusive society where every woman is empowered, respected, and free from discrimination.
Participants committed to carrying the conversation back into their own neighbourhoods, churches, and workplaces — turning a single dialogue into a wider movement for dignity and acceptance.
